Charles Albert Briggins

Chuck served his country for 29 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force, which took him to many places around the world, including Comox, BC, where he met Ann, who would become his beloved wife in 1956. Together they raised five children: Terry, Jackie, Dawn, Charles, and Larry.

In his youth, Chuck loved curling and maintained a lifelong passion for hockey and baseball.

He showed his generosity through regular blood donation and by supporting the local food bank throughout his life.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ann; his children: Jackie (Roger), Dawn (Mark), Chuck (Karen), and Larry (Pauline); 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother, Bertha; his sisters, Bea and Betty; his daughter, Terry; and his foster parents, Elroy and Irene Roberts.

At Chuck’s request, there will be no service. He will be laid to rest with Ann.

Chuck (Dad/Papa) will always hold a special place in our hearts. His love, quiet strength, and the memories he gave us will continue to echo through our lives for years to come.
