Gerry was born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan to Alfred and Annie Pederson and passed away at Comox Valley Hospital August 25, 2024.
Gerry was raised in Cumberland and made life-long friends there, as well as in Courtenay and Campbell River. He worked for many years at Campbell River Mill and retired as a carpenter.
Gerry was predeceased by his wife Judy, parents Alfred and Annie, sisters Joy, Donna and brother Cliff. He leaves behind his son Steven (Carla), daughter Teresa, brother Brian (Sherry), sister Beverley, sister-in-law Georgina, and his nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed boating, golfing, softball, and the Riding Club in Courtenay.
