Patricia Margaret Storer

Pat spent her early years in the Lachine area and much time in her parents beloved Pine Hill cottage. Pat was devoted to her children, supporting them along with her husband Dewitt in activities like scouting. After DeWitt’s passing, Pat, Jared, and Eilisha moved to Ontario sharing a home with her brother Kenny and his family. Her partner Ken joined them in Ontario later on. Reid stayed in Lachine establishing his own family with his wife Daphne there.

In 2007 Pat, Ken, and Eilisha moved to Vancouver Island to help care for Ken’s parents. Jared remained in Ontario where he met his wife Caitlin. Pat started her career with Quality Foods working in the Deli department for 17 years until her cancer diagnosis. She enjoyed many friendships at QF over the years and will be missed at Qualicum Foods. Pat and Ken moved full time to Denman Island in 2022. Pat really loved this spot, working in the garden and most of all just spending time with Ken around the property.

Pat is survived by her husband Ken, her children Reid, Jared, and Eilisha, 5 grandchildren, Haily, Madison, Riley, Owen, and Jennifer, also her siblings John, Kenny, and Lynn.

Wonderful end of life care was provided at the Comox Valley Hospice Society and donations for future patients would be greatly appreciated.
