Shirley loved her family and they cherished her. She traveled the world, loved to play Bingo and cards and was an amazing bargain hunter. A life long member of the Royal Purple, she volunteered many hours to the community and was a good friend to many.
Shirley is predeceased by her husband, Tony; son, Kenny and grandson, Kenny.
She is survived by her children: Don (Darlene), Donna (John), Rick (Gina), Rob (Ronda) and David (Susan); 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Elks Lower Hall, 231 – 6 Street, Courtenay.
A donation may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
