Grif remarked on the gentleness of the ambulance attendants who transported him from his home to the hospital just two days before his passing - we thank you for your care and kindness. Thank you also to Dr. Langhans, the staff at the Cancer Lodge in Victoria, the volunteer drivers with Wheels for Wellness, and the nurses and caregivers on floor 3A of the Comox Valley Hospital - we will remain forever grateful to you for the compassion you showed to Grif and to our family.
A celebration of Grif's life will be held at a later date.
