Willhelm Gustav Rusterholz a.k.a “Willy”, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at North Island Hospital in the Comox Valley.
He was born on December 31, 1937, in Zurich, Switzerland. Willy is survived by his life partner and wife of 54 years, Irene Rusterholz, his children; Simone and Patrick Rusterholz, grandson; Luca Steri, and beloved dog Max.
Willy was a devoted husband and father, entrepreneur, and car enthusiast. He will be missed and remembered by his surviving family and friends for his humor, frank and outspoken personality and strong work ethic.
