Irene Antliff

September 11, 1921 - March 1, 2017

Peacefully in her sleep at Regency Manor in Port Hope. Devoted wife to the late William J. Antliff (1922-2009), loving mother to Barbara (Liam O'Kane) and the late Marilyn (Don Ambrose and Linda Page); Nanna to Gregory, Derek (Mirella & Julian), Scott (Amanda), Steven (Jay), Shauna (David), and Michael (Ivy); Great-Nanna to Nicholas, Isabel, Alexandretta, Connor, Wilson, and Adam; and caring neighbour and friend to countless people over the years especially in the North York neighbourhood she called home for over 60 years and the cottage community at Sturgeon Bay.

Remembered for her warm smile, masterful baking, kind heart, snap of the cards while playing cribbage, and a genuine affection for all she met, she will be greatly missed although the entire family is content with the fact she is now at peace and back with her darling Bill playing accordion while she tap dances amongst the clouds. The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Amica at Whitby and Regency Manor in Port Hope for making her final years on this earth as pleasant and comfortable as this wonderful woman deserved.
