Visconti, Vincenzo - Passed away peacefully with his family at his side after a courageous and brave battle with cancer, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on August 10, 2014, at the age of 75. He leaves behind his wife Carmela of 51 years. Loving father of Rosa, Adrianna (Jim), Emma (John), and Santino. Cherished Nonno of Brandon, Sarah, Joshua and Bradley. Vincenzo will be greatly missed by his many relatives and friends back in Italy. Special thank you goes out to Dr. Chang and all the nurses and volunteers in the chemo clinic at the Oshawa Cancer Centre, Sherri Reid at Home Health Care and the Bowmanville Lakeridge Health ICU and CCU Staff. Vincenzo was a proud member of L.U.N.A. Visitation will be held at the Courtice Funeral Chapel (1587 Highway #2, Courtice ON, 905-432-8484) on Wednesday August 13, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church on Thursday August 14, 2014 at 10am. Memorial donations to The Lakeridge Health Oshawa Cancer Centre would be gratefully acknowledged.
