It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Lee Barnett at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Wednesday, February 19th, 2014 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Gavin for 27 years. Devoted mother of Susan (Pat), Melissa (Hillary), Craig (Valia), Jennifer (Glenn) and Valerie. Dear sister of Jean and Diana (Chuck) and adored aunt of Stephanie and Paige. Lovingly remembered by her 5 special grandsons Christopher, Zachary, Jake, Max, and Thomas. Lee loved spending time with her family. Her creativity and spirit were evident in her beautiful gardens and in her writings and poetry. She was an inspiration to us all. A celebration of Lee’s life will be held in Kingsville, Ontario at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Courtice Funeral Chapel (1587 Highway #2, Courtice Ontario L1E 2R7, 905-432-8484). Memorial donations to a charity of choice that supports children’s literacy would be gratefully acknowledged.
