Ruben Montoya

Ruben Montoya was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Ruben will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

Ruben was born on February 19, 1954 in Hidalgo, Texas. He was the son of Rufino and Refujio Montoya.

Empathic and loyal, Ruben was committed to making his new family happy with his wife Ana.

Ruben worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Ruben was blessed with three children, one son, Ronney and two daughters, Brenda and Yvette. Another blessing for Ruben was the gift of four grandchildren, Abram, Jacob, Damian and Jessie.

Fortunately, Ruben enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Ruben worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was mechanic. Ruben always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.

Ruben passed away on January 25, 2012 in Azusa, California. He is survived by his wife Ana, his daughters Brenda and Yvette, his son Ronney, his grandsons, Abram, Jacob and Damian and his granddaughter, Jessie. Services were held at Custer Christiansen Chapel.

Ruben was a man who worked hard to provide for his family, he was very smart and loving. He will be missed so very much. We love you Dad.

Simply stated, Ruben was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Ruben leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Ruben Montoya.
