Bubba Stipe

Bubba Stipe, aged 47, passed away on October 3, 2024, in Covington, LA. Born on January 12, 1977, in New Orleans, LA, Bubba was known for his vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor. An ultimate Star Wars fan and the life of any party, his presence was a source of joy and laughter for all who knew him.

Bubba graduated from Archbishop Shaw High School before earning a bachelor's degree from Southeastern University. He began his career at Southeastern University Police and later served with distinction at the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, where he was a cherished member of the STPSO family. Bubba's legacy of laughter and love will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 22 years, Christina Taranto Stipe, and his daughters, Hayden and Fallon Stipe. Bubba was a cherished son to his parents, Chris and Lucille (DeShazo) Stipe, and a loving brother to Christian Stipe. His extended family includes his in-laws, John and Jeanne Taranto; sisters-in-law, Lisa Mocklin (David), Shelly Vincens (Doug) and Amanda Mason; and nieces and nephews: Anthony, Christian, Sydney, Jeremy, Owen, Hunter, Nathan, Meghan, and Natalie, along with his brothers and sisters in blue and numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

Services to honor Bubba's life will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Grace Funeral Home, located at 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
