Carolyn Sullivan Talbert

Carolyn Sullivan Talbert, age 87, of Metairie Louisiana passed away on December 10, 2025. Carolyn was born in Pensacola, Florida on May 23, 1938 to the late Arthur and Stella Sullivan. Carolyn was the devoted wife of sixty-eight years to the late Victor Talbert.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Patti Blackledge (Barry); her granddaughters Jennifer Lacoste (Stevin), Katelyn Kubacak (Ivan), Taylor Thibodeaux (Joseph); and great-grandchildren Abigail Jane Thibodeaux, Landon Wyatt Kubacak, and Charlotte Rose Thibodeaux. She is preceded in death by her daughter Peggy Talbert.

Carolyn dedicated over fifty-six years to her career in real estate, working alongside her daughter Peggy and granddaughter Jennifer. She worked with integrity and closed over one billion dollars in real estate. Her granddaughter Jennifer continues to carry on her legacy. Outside of her career, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed working in the yard, and was a choir member at Celebration Church. Carolyn was extremely generous, and was always quick to remind others of what God had done for her.

Carolyn will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington LA 70433 on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Visitation on Monday beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the services at Sandhill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, LA.
