Dallas is survived by his loving wife, Janell Dupepe Ray, his parents Carmen Maria Calles and Clarence Albert Ray (Janie). He is also survived by his siblings Travis (Nikki), Angelo (Kelly) and Mario (Amber). He was a wonderful uncle to Brandon, Sophia, Allie, Eloise Ray and Margot and Coco Dupepe.
Dallas is preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Alma Ray, Carlos and Marjorie Calles, Uncle Kenneth Calles and Aunt Yolanda Callas.
Dallas relocated from Minnesota to New Orleans in 2001 to escape the cold weather and eventually found loving warmth with his new bride Janell in 2022. Dallas loved to travel, was an avid Saints fan, enjoyed reading, was fun loving, had a grand sense of humor and loved to laugh and enjoyed life. But most of all he was a kind soul who helped everyone. He possessed a spirit larger than life that will live on in everyone’s memory.
By trade Dallas tended bar, by virtue he was a great man, with an intoxicating smile and laugh. In all the ways that mattered he loved and loved deeply, a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend.
Let’s raise a pint to Dallas, remembering all the ways he improved our lives and may he rest with ease and peace.
