

James is survived by his three children; Michelle Livermore, Courtney "Cici" Livermore, and James R. Livermore, Jr., his grandchildren; Christina Komfort, Drew Reed, Jordan Reed, and Natalie Livermore, and his sisters-in-law; Laurie Livermore and Erin Powers-Livermore. James is also survived by his great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
James was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis Livermore. Also preceding him in death are his brothers; Carl Livermore, Pete Livermore, Douglas Livermore, and his sister-in-law Edna Livermore.
James proudly served in the United States Army for many years, retiring with several honors to his name, including a Purple Heart. James enjoyed volunteering his time at the American Legion Post 16 for bingo. It has been said that he was in a category all on his own, known for being quite the character! James will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Services for James will be held at Grace Funeral Home on Thursday, February 12, 2026 beginning at 11:00AM. Military Honors will be rendered for James at 1:00PM, followed by a Christian Service held in the Grace Chapel. Burial will be held privately for the immediate family at a later date.
