Michael was a loving brother, husband, and father. He lived his life in service through the years with the church, scouts, and his work over decades in food service and distribution. He loved his work, but his greatest joy and pride was his family. Through good times and tough, he always ensured they knew they were loved. Even as he battled against sickness, his thoughts were on the care of his children and loving wife. He leaves a legacy behind of raw emotion, tempered intellectual inquiry, and outspoken, vocal love.
