Sandi Forman, a devoted wife, loving mother and dear friend to many, passed peacefully on May 4, 2025, at the age of 69. Remembered for her dedication to her family, vibrant spirit, and eye for beauty, she brought light and joy to all who knew her.
Sandi is missed by her beloved husband Harold Forman, her cherished daughter Sarah Forman, son-in-law Ron Rona Villegas, siblings Yoli Funderburk, Fernando Orona and George Orona, nieces Jenny Laperouse and Tori Orona, nephews Nathaniel Orona and Christopher Orona, great-nieces Olivia, Nicholas and Skylar, and favorite dog Stella. Sandra is preceded by parents Manuel Orona and Amparo Ponce De Leon.
Sandi had a passion for life that carried her around the world alongside Harold, especially traveling to Italy and Puerto Vallarta. Closer to home, she looked forward to Jazz Fest each year, where she could be found each year dancing in her big sun hat.
Sandi was a selfless and deeply devoted mother to her only daughter, Sarah. She poured her heart into caring for, supporting, and loving her Sarah with unwavering joy and tenderness. Their bond was one of the truest reflections of the love she carried through life — pure, generous and unconditional.
Loving and friendly, Sandi had an extraordinary gift for making others feel welcome and seen. Her love of good company was evident in the way she cherished dinners out with friends, always creating moments full of laughter, connection and fun conversation.
With impeccable taste and a natural talent for design, she had an effortless way of making everything around her more beautiful—from her home to her garden to the smallest details of everyday life. Her style was an expression of her joyful and thoughtful soul.
A devoted dog lover, she found constant joy and companionship in her beloved pups, who were as much a part of her family as anyone.
She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and always celebrated. Her light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
