Vicki Jones White

Vicki is survived by her beloved husband John; her daughters Taylor and Allie, and her son-in-law Bryan Poche. She is also survived by her stepfather Jack Godwin and aunt Wanda Cummings. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Vicki is preceded in death by her mother Laverne Godwin and father Kenneth Jones.

Vicki grew up on the lake in Lake Providence, LA. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from NLU (ULM) in nursing in 1984. She had a love for nursing and continued that passion for 40 years. She married her husband John in June of 1985 at her mother’s home in Lake Providence. The couple moved to Mandeville, LA in 1997 where they raised their two daughters.

From being homeroom mom to the loudest member of her tennis team, Vicki was always the life of the party. She loved her tennis friends, and they were a huge part of her life. Vicki was always on the go and loved to travel with her husband and family. She lived a fulfilled life and surrounded herself with what made her happiest: family, friends, animals, tennis, exercise, beaches, and planning her next great adventure.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at St. Timothy Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Drive, Mandeville, LA 70471 on the 31st day of January 2025 at 12:30 PM with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM.

A private interment will take place in St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden Cemetery.
