Kay Ann Radke was born on July 10, 1952 in Great Bend, Kansas to her parents, Ray and Barbara Radke. She was the eldest of five children. Shortly after graduating from high school in Great Bend, she and her family moved to Craig, CO. In her early thirties, she relocated to Wyoming with her parents. At around age 40, Kay moved back to Craig into her forever home with her mother, and later with her sister.
Kay thoroughly enjoyed anything that would keep her hands busy, whether it was crocheting, cross stitch, doing a puzzle, anything art related, or a good word search. In her younger years, you could see her on long walks, playing board games as well as card games; teaching all of her nieces how to play, or doing yard work. Kay was very quick witted and loved being surrounded by family.
Kay passed away on March 18, 2021 at HopeWest Care Center of Grand Junction, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Barbara Radke. She is survived by her siblings Brenda (Ray) Parfrey of Craig, CO, Paul (Onna) Radke of New Castle, WY, Tracy Radke of Craig, CO, and Jeff Radke of Craig, CO, nieces Heather (Todd) Trapp, Jennifer (Terry) Duran, Megan (Jared) Lowther, and Deidra (Brent) Chamberlain and many great nieces and nephews. Private services were held at Craig Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to HopeWest Care Center in Grand Junction, Colorado in care of Grant Mortuary.
