Thomas “Tommy” Mitchell Denton was born on May 21st 1960 to William and Wanda Denton. Tommy was raised by his mom and stepfather Donald James. He was the oldest of 7 children and the best big brother. Tommy is survived by his siblings Terry, Joey, Kammy, Christy, Misty and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathy, his parents and brother Troy. Tommy was a great conversationalist and storyteller (mostly true). He was a friend to anyone in need. He loved Harley’s, fast cars, fishing and his dogs Max and Toby. Tommy went to the afterlife on Sunday, September 28th after a struggle with CHF. We know you are at the beaches of Barbados with your sweetie Kathy. We will dearly miss you Tommy! A viewing for family and friends will be held 2:00-4:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Grant Mortuary. Private memorial services are being held.
