He was born July 18, 1997, in Peoria to Cathy (Morris) Groel and Harold Groel. In 2023, he met Courtney Schneider, along with his beloved lil’ dawg, Forrest and became the other pea to her crazy pod.
Bryce is survived by his parents; his brother, Charlie (Brittany Vogel) Groel of Florida; his sister, Cheyenne Groel of Florida; three nieces, Charlotte Groel, Kendall-Butt Vogel, and Bella Vogel; three nephews, Branson Groel, Brock Groel, and Matty Vogel; and the many members of Boilermakers Local 60 and Local 647, who became like family to him.
Bryce worked as a boilermaker for six years with Local 60, a career he took pride in. Outside of work, he loved working on cars, listening to all kinds of music, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Bryce was truly one of a kind. He was the loudest in the room, the life of every party, and the kind of person whose presence could light up an entire space the moment he walked in. He had the biggest heart—so big that he would give the shoes off his feet to someone in need, even if it meant going without himself. His kindness, generosity, and genuine love for others left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him.
No services will be held at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
