

Born July 13, 1949 in Anna to Robert B. and Anna Almeda (Pitts) Drum, she married William Johnson Woodard on March 11, 2001. He died July 24, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are one daughter, Cindy (Jerry) Perdun of Creve Coeur; two step-sons, Paul Woodard of Jenks, Oklahoma and Mark (Laine) Woodard of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Delores Jones of Canton; five grandchildren, Ethan Woodard of Jenks, Oklahoma and Pamela, Curtis, David and Helen; one step-grandson, Michael (Bree) Perdun; four great-granddaughters, Peyton, Presley, Parker and Paige of Festus, Missouri; one brother, Dennis (Christine) Drum of Dunlap and one nephew, Brandon Drum of St. Louis, Missouri.
Claudia had worked as a legal secretary for 30-plus years for most of her career was spent in Lawrence, Kansas before retiring in 2019.
She was KU Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs fan, and enjoyed bowling, gardening and baking, especially Christmas cookies. She also loved shopping and spending quality time with her friends and family.
A gathering celebrating Claudia’s life will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Oz’z Bar in Creve Coeur. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
