He was born September 9, 1973 in Peoria to Johnnie Lee and Barbara (Voegele) Lovell. His father preceded him in death.
Surviving are his mother, Barbara Lovell of Marquette Heights; one brother, Steven Lovell of Peoria; one sister, Melissa (Brandon) Winn of Pekin; one nephew, Parker Winn; one niece, Molly Winn and his beloved dog, Taz 2.
Michael worked at Kroger’s for over 30 years.
Michael was an avid fan of Chevrolet Trucks, he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, collecting arrow heads, watching movies, playing online games and slot machines. He also loved spending time with his family and his dogs, and had a special place in his heart for Lucas, his Godson.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
