Randy Lee Giddens Sr.

Born November 7, 1956, in Saint Louis, Missouri to Ronald Lee and Louise Bertha Giddens, he married Deanna Wheeler in 1978. She survives.

Also surviving is his mother; two children, Rachel (Will) Crisler of East Peoria and Randy (Kelly) Giddens Jr. of Davenport, Iowa; three grandchildren, William Crisler, Joseph Crisler and Dylan Giddens; two brothers, Ronnie Giddens and Rodney (Cindy) Giddens; three sisters, Rhonda (Rick) Crull, Roberta (Tom) Blanchard and Rebecca (Chris) Onken and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Ruth Diane Giddens and Renee Lisa Maggart.

Randy was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves.

He had worked as an electrical technician with Muzak for over 30 years, retiring in 2020. He was also on the Creve Coeur school board for many years.

Randy enjoyed studying genealogy and spending time with his grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Glendale Memory Gardens in Pekin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
