Mrs. Anna May Alderson

She was born June 21, 1925 in Republic, a daughter of Charles and Lucy Billanti Latorre. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Dennis R. Alderson, Sr., brothers, Gregory Latorre, Joseph Latorre, and Salvadore Latorre.

She was a resident of St. Albans for more than 55 years. Anna was a faithful member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in St. Albans. In later years she has been associated with Rock Branch Independent Church of Nitro.

She is survived by her son, Dennis R. Alderson, Jr. and wife Mary, sister in law, Judy Latorre, and many loving nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and other friends and family members.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Rolling Meadows Place for their kindness and the wonderful care given to Anna May during the years she spent there. The family would also like to thank HospiceCare for their loving care and compassion during Anna’s illness and her physician Dr. Joshua Bradford, M.D. who always referred to as Aunt May.

Celebration of Anna’s life will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home with Pastor Delbert Hawley officiaiting. Entombment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
