

She was a devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was an active member of Park Avenue Church of Christ and volunteered for many relief mission trips.
Barbara graduated from Dunbar High School in 1970 and from Wheeling Jesuit College. She worked at American Academy of Family Physicians with Chris and Dub Ferrell for many years. She retired from CAMC as a psych residency coordinator.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Lucille Sullivan of Tyler Mountain.
She is survived by her soulmate of 52 years Steve, sons Erik (Denise) and grandson Blaine of Smyrna, TN and Justin (Danielle) of Canaan Valley, sisters Sharon Boley, Debby Smiley (John), Terri Williamson (Curt) and Cecilia Copley, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, special friends and travel buddies Alex & Debbie Derenburger and special four legged friend companion Lucy.
Barbara was a worldwide traveler and especially enjoyed the beach and her second home at Canaan Valley. She leaves quite a legacy for all of us to follow.

A Celebration of Barbara's life will be Saturday September 28, 2024 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, West Virginia 5233 Rocky Ford Rd at 1:00 p.m.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
