
He was a 67 graduate of S. Charleston High and a 1969 graduate of Devry Institute of Technology in Chicago. He was a Marine Corp SGT and Vietnam veteran. Claude retired from the U.S. Postal service after 30 years.
Claude loved hunting, fishing and shooting pool with his dad. His parents loved the beach. After visiting him several times at Atlantic Beach, NC, they built a home on the water at Sunset Beach NC. Good Times!
Claude was preceded by the best parents ever Hollis E. (Brownie) and Gladys Null, Claude and Ruth Hill and sister, Scarlett Holmes.
He is survived by his son Bryan E Null, Granddaughter; Haylee Null, Great friends and neighbors; Brother Jerry and Letha Null, Noland and Linda Tucker, Good friend of 40 years, Art Hescht. Close friends from work; Reverand William Berry and Vivian Berry, Tom (Big Guy) and Lou Chafin, Ginny Pitek and Linda Litton and my dear cousin Rose Lette, all my pals from the gas station, good friends Scott and Paula Egnor and good buddy Brian Carpenter, my friends of 50 years in the Marine’s; Mike Fital, Jeff Dieker, Tom Fulton, Dennis Willey, Micky Dawed, Judd Coker and Al Higgins, my dear friends of 50 years in Germany; Sigfried and Rente Werner, Pepe and Liana , Elka, Swen and Danes. Lots of good times here and there. CIAO!
Celebration of Claudes life will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Cross Lanes with Rev. William K Berry (Billy B) officiating and some comments by Brother Jerry Null. “Don’t fib Jerry!” “Tell it like it was.” Entombment will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Military Graveside Rites conducted by St Albans VFW Post 6418 and American Legion Post 73.
