He was born February 28, 1951 at Thomas Memorial Hospital and was a son of Kenneth K. and Rachel H. Hill of St. Albans, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda K. Hill; brother, Alfred A. Hill; and sisters, Nova Jean Milam and Nancy Ellen Lee.
Danny was retired from the City of Nitro.
He is survived by sister, Ila Lee McCallister; brothers, Alex Monroe and Michael LeRoy Hill; son, Rodney Ray Dunn; grandchildren, Chelsea Rae and Joshua Dalton Dunn; nieces, Sharon, Libby, Sandra, Becky, Penny, Kathy, Rachel, Barbie, Robin, Roxanna, Rachel and Amanda; nephews, Pat, Kenny, James, Elvis, Charles Jr., Alex Jr., and Scott Hill; a host of loving friends; and his two dogs, Angel and Max.
A celebration of Danny’s life will be 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2014 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home to remember good times with Danny.
