He was born June 25, 1967 in South Charleston, the son of Henry and Janet Knuckles Johnson. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Leroy and Betty Knuckles.
Donny was a jack of all trades. He was an avid outdoorsman. Donny was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and a friend that will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children Joshua Johnson, Donald Lee Johnson, Jr., Amanda K. Johnson, and James Johnson, several grandchildren, brother Scott Johnson (Melissa), sisters Pamela Abbott, and Bev Elliott (Terry), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and girlfriend Darlene Burton.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Friday April 10, 2026 at Fox Hill Cemetery, South Charleston.
