

Frances was born on February 16, 1927 to Cloie and Homer J. Null of Cross Lanes and along with her parents joins her infant son Daniel and loving husband Donald W. Bowling with her Creator in heaven.
Frances (affectionately known as G-Mom) is survived by children Anita (Greg) Stonestreet of Cross Lanes and David Bowling of Nashville TN; grandchildren Andrew Stonestreet of Portland OR, Lauren Stonestreet of Charlottesville VA, Stephen Stonestreet of Nashville TN, and Caitlin Stonestreet of Cross Lanes; along with many relatives and friends.
Frances was retired from the West Virginia National Guard where she was the Adjutant General’s secretary in the service of many AGs from the 1950s through the 1980s. She attended Main Street Church of God (now Southridge Church), Perrow Presbyterian Church, and Teays Valley Church of God. Frances was a wonderful, gracious, and caring lady who loved her family and grandchildren. Her love of reading, outdoors, and homemaking leaves many wonderful memories to cherish.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Broadmore Senior Living of Teays Valley and Midland Meadows of Ona WV for the care of G-Mom during the last few years. In addition, the family would like to acknowledge the caring attention of the staff at St. Mary’s during her recent illness.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11 from 5pm to 7pm and Thursday, February 12 at 11am followed by a service at 12:00 noon at the Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road in Cross Lanes.
