

Harry Mann Hill, 82, of Cross Lanes, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025. Harry was born in Charleston (South Park), WV, to Delmer and Virgie Hill on June 24, 1943. He graduated from Charleston High School in 1962 and obtained Auto Diesel certification in 1963 in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1965 he worked at Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Charleston and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After an honorable discharge in 1967, he worked at the Hercules Powder Company in Radford, VA, later returning to Charleston, where he worked at the Kroger Company for a short time before being employed at the United States Postal Service, where he retired after 37 years of service.
Harry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law. He attended Community Chapel Church in Cross Lanes. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved striking up conversation with strangers and showing off his Ford Mustang.
Preceding him in death are his wife of 55 years, Patricia (Pat) Jean Hill; parents, Delmer and Virgie Hill; step-mother, Addie; siblings, Mable, Phyllis, Elvina, Elvin, Virginia, Delmer Jr., Betty, Dollie, and Dolores.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Kiblinger of Schwenksville, PA; son, Jeremy (Emily) Hill of Charleston; grandchildren, Alison Hill, Benji Kiblinger, and Eliza Hill; and many other close and extended family members and friends.
Celebration of Harry’s life will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home, Cross Lanes with Pastor Karle Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Military Graveside Rites conducted by St Albans VFW Post 6418 and American Legion Post 73.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 1 until time of service at the funeral home.
