

John H. Circle, 71, of Charleston, WV, passed away May 22, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House West. John was born on Aug. 22, 1943 in Charleston, a son of Goldie M. Scarbro Circle and the late James Madison Circle, II. He was a U.S. Army Military Police Officer while serving in Vietnam. He retired from Bayer Crop Science. John was an avid sportsman and loved fishing and hunting. During his early years of racing motor cross, he met his loving wife. He played basketball for the University of Concepcion in Chile for two years. John coached soccer for many years including the first Girls Soccer Team at Nitro High School. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Anna Dennison Circle; one son, J.C. Circle (significant other, Anissa Barnett); one daughter, Lisa Circle (fiancée, James Woodson); two brothers, Jimmy Circle (wife, Karen) of Lewisburg, WV and Tim Circle (wife, Ginger) of Independence, VA; and many loving nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 1 p.m. at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, with Pastor Gerald Lanham officiating. Military graveside service will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
