

She was born February 21, 1952 in Charleston.. She graduated from East Bank High School and WV State College. Joyce taught music in Kanawha County Schools for over 30 years. She continued her twirling as a coach and judge. She sang in the choir at St John's and All Saints Episcopal for many years. She loved scrapbooking with her best friend, Karen Wheeler, who preceded her in death. She loved to visit her sisters in St. Petersburg, FL. Joyce was a liberal democrat and believed everyone was created equally. She loved drinking pepsi, and cooking fabulous meals. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren,
Preceding her in death was her father, Thomas Wilson, and mother and step father Betty and Art Greenlee, brothers, Thomas Greenlee and David Greenlee and her dog Angel.
Her legacy endures through her daughters Jamie Older and Kimberly Older, and son, David Greenberg, Son and Daughter-in-law Bob and Sue Houck, sisters, Sandy Ambler (Don), and Krista Howard (Gary), brothers, Ted Greenlee, Arthur Greenlee and Tommy Wilson (Michelle), sister in law, Brenda Greenlee, grandchildren, Brittni Houck, Brett Houck, Nathan Lyttle and his fiancee Hannah Carpenter, and Aaron George, nieces, and nephews, Darrell Ambler (Kelly) and son Griffin, Beth Stoothoff and daughters Mav and Lindsey, Rachel Greenlee and daughter Maya, Jacob Green and Emma Green and her husband and children: Michael Schelson, Jethro, Caleb and Ephraim.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
