Lona “Ruth” Page of Cross Lanes passed away June 19th, 2024 after a long illness. Ruth was born September 27th, 1948 to Nora Baldwin and the late Elmer Baldwin of Sissonville, WV. In addition to her beloved father she was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond “Butter” Page. She is survived by her stepdaughters Kathy Page (Tina Cecil) and Kelly Page Burdette, her grandchildren whom she loved dearly Jayden (Kayla) Burdette and Graycen Burdette, Ben Cecil (Lauren), Shelby Cecil, great grandchildren William and Raelynn Burdette, and Audrey Cecil, mother Nora Baldwin, sisters Joyce Pack and Gerry Reed, special nieces Marissa and Kourtney Byrd and Lisa Stone, nephew Ronnie Page (Becky) who all helped Ruth during her illness and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Ruth loved spending time outdoors and used to love playing in the pool with her grandchildren and taking motorcycle rides with her husband.
A Celebration of Ruth’s life will be Sunday, June 23rd, 2024 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home with Pastor Joey McCutcheon officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30-2 with Memorial Service following at 2. Burial will be Monday June 24th, 2024 at 10 A.M. at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
