Loretta was born on March 29, 1940 in Nitro, WV to James and Myrtle Lawson. She worked in the service industry, government contracting, and finally healthcare, all while raising a son, Randall Cotner.
Loretta was always helping others and making them smile. Often she would bake cookies, brownies, or even a cake and give them away to friends, neighbors, and even her mail carrier. She was also known for, rather than saying good bye, she would always say “TAH TAH,” which people found endearing and adorable.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, James and Myrtle Lawson. She is survived by her son Randall Cotner of DeLand, FL, two sisters June Juristy of North Versailles, PA and Drema Allawat of Summrville, SC, and numerous very loved nieces and nephews.
