Luke was a freshman at St. Albans High School. He was very kind hearted, helpful and loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed making people happy. He was a Kanawha County Middle School basketball champion last year from Hayes Middle School, as well as a St. Albans City Champ through his little league years for the Rotary Club.
Luke loved fishing (and made sure you knew he was the best), kayaking, hunting, baseball, and basketball and was a bit obsessed with fishing poles, fishing gear, and basketball shoes. He spent a lot of time on the riverbank when he wasn't practicing the sport in season. His proudest moment was when he received the Leland Brown – Heart and Soul Award in 2017. One of Luke’s fondest memories was a vacation to the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY with his family. He was studying for his learners permit test and really proud that he could drive a stick shift. Luke was loved by anyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
