Shirley Ann Byers

She was born September 1, 1939 in Belpre, Ohio, the daughter of Leo and Margaret Reeves Weaver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years. Ronald S., son, Marty S. and brothers Donald and Leo, Jr. Weaver.

Shirley was retired from the Federal Government with over 25 years of service. After retiring from the Federal Government she worked for a number of years with H&R Block. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Craig (Teresa) of Barboursville, WV Tammy Anderson (Robert) of Surfside Beach SC, Scott Byers (Diana), of Cullowhee NC, and Melissa Byers of Cross Lanes, WV.

Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home with Chaplain Pete Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Family will receive visitors from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to her daughter Melissa for being her support and caretaker during her time of need.
