Thomas Earl Olson

Thomas (Tommy) Earl Olson Sr, 66, of Saint Albans, WV, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2025 at Thomas Memorial Hospital. He was born March 20, 1959, in Charleston WV. A son to the late Robert C Olson Sr and the late Donna L Olson of Alum Creek, WV. He was a avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to fish with his wife, sons, grandsons, neighbors, and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law Kyle T Graley Sr, and mother-in-law Geraldine Graley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Donna K. Olson of St. Albans. Sons; Thomas (Michelle) E Olson II of Scott Depot, and Anthony W Olson of Saint Albans. Grandsons; Jacob Olson, Nick Hudson, and Eric Hudson. Bonus Daughter; April Knuckles. Bonus 2nd wife; Mary Jane Nixon. Brothers; Robert (Betty) Olson Jr, and William (Judy) Olson. Sisters; Libby (Roy) Fulks, and Belinda (Dwight) Barker. A host of nieces and nephews. He was also a father figure and grandfather figure to many including Cara Davis, Evan Snyder, Jesse, Lea, and Jayden Mace. He will be greatly missed by his puppy, Daisy Mae. Grandpuppies; Mope, Dolly, Burt, and Copper.

Per Tommy's wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 3pm at Emmons Church of God at 41 Squirrelwood Lane, Alum Creek, WV 25003. A dinner will follow in the community room of the church. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emmons Church of God or Brier Creek Baptist Church of Alum Creek, WV.
