William P. “Bill” Lilly, 75, of Liberty, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday, January 25, 2017 after a short illness. Bill was the eldest child born, July 12, 1941 in Charleston, to Basil and Frances Workman Lilly. Bill was an electrical and sheet metal mechanic who owned and operated Journeyman Heating and Electric for 15 years. He was a member of Heizer Creek Community Church and a proud US Navy Veteran. He was a child of God for 64 years and was devoted to his family and the church. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Phyllis, daughter, Melissa Harper of Liberty; sons, William B. of FL, and Troy W. of OH; sisters, Mildred Bonham of Sissonville, Margaret Alley of FL, Cindy Ritter of KY, and Dora Kelley of FL; brothers, Jim Lilly of KY and Basil Lilly, of FL; eight grandchildren, and one great -granddaughter. Celebration of Bill’s life will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with Pastor Kevin officiating. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted immediately following the service by St. Albans VFW Post 6418 and American Legion Post 73. Gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
