William P. “Bill” Tucker, 87, of St. Albans, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Valley Center. Bill retired from Coastal Tank Lines after 37 years of service. He was a US Army Veteran having served 2 years in Germany. Bill attended Bethany Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and going to the beach in Florida. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather who will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Hazel, daughter, Cheryl Griffith and her husband Gary, of St. Albans, son, Randy Tucker, at home, grandchildren, Lance Griffith, of CA, Samantha Snyder, of Colorado Springs, CO, Tyler Griffith, of Phoenixville, PA, and Connor Griffith, of West Chester, PA. Celebration of Bill’s life will be 11:00 Monday, September 15, 2014 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with Pastor Tim Campbell and Rev. Butch Leadman officiating. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Institute. Gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 2 to 4 at the funeral home.
