Anthony J. "Tony" Cavalieri, 72, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed on Thursday, July 24, 2014 after a long battle with MS. Tony is survived by his treasured wife, Donna (Hunt), who comforted him every day of his life; his son, Eric and wife Nicole (Tirri); his daughter, Danielle and husband Brian Spahr. Tony leaves behind his two adoring sisters, Sandy (Cavalieri) Luposello and Michele (Cavalieri) Muir, and brothers-in-law Al Luposello and Bob "Miller" Muir. "PopPop" also leaves his cherished twin grandchildren, Kacey and Kyle Cavalieri. His loving parents, Salvatore "Sal" Cavalieri and Sylvia (DeFalco) of Ossining, predeceased him. Tony, a master mechanic, was the owner of E/T Performance Center of Ossining for more than 20 yrs. Always car buff, his hobbies included drag racing, being known for his customized hot rods, and as former founder and president of the Rev Masters Club. Tony was a diehard Yankee fan. Family will receive friends Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 4 - 8 pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home 41 Grand St., Croton on Hudson. A Mass will be offered Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11 am at St. Augustine Church 381 N. Highland Ave. in Ossining.
