Mary was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico on October 13, 1924 to Rafael Ortiz and Agripina Alvarado.
She is survived by her loving daughter Edna and her husband Ceasar Cabrera, her adoring grandchildren, Carissa, Christian and Justin and her beloved sisters Margie and Sica.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY from 2-4 pm and 6-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 3rd at Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Burial will follow at Linden Hill Cemetery in Ridgewood, NY.
