Edward F. Melville of Mohegan Lake, Ny passed away on November 18, 2017 at the age of 94. He was born to William and Isavel (Lounsbery) Melville on July 29, 1923 in Peekskill, NY. Eddie served in the US Army during WWII in the Battery B 550th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. He loved his animals and would often tell stories about his dogs.
Edward is survived by his loving son Edward G. Melville and daughter Kim Barirde, by his cherished granddaughters Hannah Joy, Melanie, Lorraine, and Carly-Rose, and adored great grandchildren Ania, Robbie, Caleb, and Zoya, ad will be missed by his dog and cat Todo and Sylvester. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Joy F. Melville and grandson Johne Barirde.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9PM Monday, November 27, 2017 at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton on Hudson, NY. Funeral Service will be celebrated 11AM on Tuesday, November 28th also at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, Croton. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
