Francis was born on July 12, 1929 in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. He was married to the late Joyce Finnerty who predeceased him in 2010.
He is survived by his beloved son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lisa Finnerty; loving grandchildren, Megan, Sean and Matthew Finnerty and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife he was predeceased by his beloved daughter Susan Finnerty in 1978; brother and sisters, Allan Finnerty, Eileen Ryan and Rita Wilhelm.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 4-7pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 4th at 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Burial of Ashes will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Croton.
