Mary E. Cabrera

Mary Elizabeth Cabrera of White Plains, New York died at Calvary Hospital after a long illness. Born in NYC, she was the daughter of Marcella and Otto Boese and loving sister of Catherine (Boese) Mattison. Mary graduated from St Helena Business High School in the Bronx. She worked in business and also as a nursing assistant. Mary enjoyed traveling from coast to coast before settling in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Mary was predeceased by her mother father and nephew Chris Mattison.

Mary is survived by her sister, Catherine (Boese) Mattison, of White Plains, New York. Additionally, she was the loving Aunt of Tim (Nicole) Mattison of Pleasantville, New York and Great Aunt of Jack and Tessa Mattison. Mary was also like a mother to Bobbiann Vanderhoof and Cyndi Soares of Fall River Massachusetts. She leaves behind many cousins and friends in Canada and the United States. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 2 to 5 PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, New York 10520 with a prayer service beginning at 3 PM. Burial is private.
