Richard H. Ferris

Richard was born in Peekskill, NY on November 6, 1923 to the late Richard N. and Ruth (Davey) Ferris. Richard was a proud United States Army Air Force WWII Veteran. He worked and retired in 1982 as Plant Manager for Burnwell Gas in Peekskill, NY. Richard was also the Co-Owner of Croton Bait & Tackle with his wife Ina. His true passions in life were his family and fishing. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ina R. Ferris; loving son and daughters, Robert Ferris (Doreen) of Cold Spring, Ruthann Lombardo (Louis) of Garrison, Maryann Lombardo (Frank) of Cold Spring, Aura Lee Varell (Gene) of Lansdale, PA and Laura Jean DeNoris (David) of Croton-on-Hudson. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Richard was predeceased by his son, Richard H. Ferris, Jr. and his sisters, Etta Pinkham and Gladys Nelson.

Funeral Services will be private.
