Robert was born on March 4, 1946 in Ossining, NY to Robert E. and Elizabeth Gilligan.
He is survived by his beloved children, Kristine, Brian (Christina) and Kevin Gilligan; loving parents, Robert E.,Sr. and Elizabeth Gilligan; caring brother Roland Gilligan and his adoring grandchildren, Luke, Daniella, Alyssa, Heather and Alexis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY from 2-3:30 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm also at the funeral home.
