Royce Dante Gambino (Roy), 55, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2017 surrounded by his family. Born June 28, 1961 in Garfield Hts., Ohio. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Delores (Zelasko) Gambino, Brother Sterling (Chip) (Lisbeth) Gambino, sister Rachelle (Shelly) Vitiello. Survived by sisters Karen (Eugene) Steinmann, Candace (William) Lucas, Carla (John) Schartner and his many nieces and nephews. A 1979 graduate of CHHS. Roy was an All-State Lacrosse player, All-County football player (quarterback) and an all-around athlete including basketball and baseball. The family would like to thank the Field Home-Holy Comforter and all the wonderful staff for caring for Roy throughout the years.
Services will be held at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, Croton-on-Hudson, NY February 9th 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the National MS Society in Roy’s name Royce Dante Gambino.
