Virginia Rose Attinelly

Virginia Rose Attinelly of Croton on Hudson, NY passed away surrounded by family on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the age of 85. Ginny was born to Melvin E. and Grace (O’Dell) Williams on February 27, 1931 in the Bronx, NY. She was married to Robert F. Attinelly on August 30, 1952 until his passing in January of 1987. Virginia was a member of the Croton Seniors and a volunteer with Phelps Hospice.

Virginia is survived by her beloved children Kenneth E. Attinelly (Linda), Daniel F. Attinelly (Brenda), Robert (Bob) M. Attinelly (Lauren), cherished grandchildren Jessica J. Redmond (Kevin), Stephanie A. Tengeres (AJ), Danielle F. Maldonado (Carlos), and Jack and Jillian Attinelly, 7 adored great grandchildren, cherished brother Robert D. Williams, and by her dear friends Donald and Diane Divney. Besides her husband Virginia was also predeceased by her daughter Janet D. Attinelly in 1973 and her sister Patricia Bolstad.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 10AM at Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand St. Croton on Hudson, NY with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery also in Croton.
