Adelaida M Sepulveda

Adelaida Mena Sepulveda Crown Point, IN Adelaida Mena Sepulveda age 72, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, after a courageous battle with Cancer. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Alberto and Alfredo Mena. She is survived by her devoted husband, Juan Sepulveda; two sons, John (Cheryl) Sepulveda of Schererville and Joe (Christina McCraney) Sepulveda of Crown Point; two loving grandchildren, Leah and Reed Sepulveda of Schererville. Addy is also survived by her siblings, Eduardo, Mary Carmen, Jose Maria and Guillermo Mena of Mexico; loving cousin, Maria Negrete and her children, David (Vanessa) Negrete and Gregory Negrete as well as an extended family and loving friends. Addy was born September 18, 1947 in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. When Addy and Juan came to the US she became a school teacher at St. Mary School in East Chicago, IN. She taught kindergarten and 1st grade at St. Mary’s until 1993. Addy was an avid swimmer and enjoyed her workouts at Omni. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Per Addy’s wishes, a private burial with immediate family will take place Friday, May 22, 2020 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN.
