Thelma Faye Graykowski

Thelma “Faye” Graykowski (nee Collins), age 85, of Valparaiso, IN passed away peacefully January 29, 2020 at Porter Regional Hospital. Faye was born in Lizemore, WV April 6, 1934. Faye is survived by her loving children Michael (Christine) Graykowski, Steve Graykowski and Margaret Kenders; proud grandmother of Michael (Andrea), Daniel (Alyssa) Falk, Megan (Samantha) Bortner, Jessica (fiancé-Zeke Becerra), Rebecca (fiancé Karson Rhein), David, Randy and Zachary Graykowski; great grandmother of six; and aunt of Robert Graykowski and Kimberly Geroch. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years Harry; daughters Patricia and Laura; and parents Rose and Hobart. Faye was a western film buff and loved and enjoyed family gatherings. Faye was active with the V.F.W. for many years. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave. (one-half mile south of U. S. 30) Crown Point, IN with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
